How Do File Attachments Work in is.team?

is.team supports drag-and-drop file uploads on task cards and canvas notes, with inline previews for images, PDFs, and common document formats. Files are stored in Firebase Storage with encryption at rest and in transit, organized per workspace with storage quotas per plan: 100 MB on Free, 1 GB on Starter, 5 GB on Pro, and 20 GB on Max. Image attachments render as inline thumbnails within the task description or comment thread, expandable to full-size preview with a click. Non-image files display with file type icons and download links. The rich text editor supports pasting images directly from the clipboard, which automatically uploads and embeds them. Google Drive integration extends attachment capabilities by linking Drive files directly to tasks without consuming workspace storage — linked files show inline previews for Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and PDFs. Figma integration similarly allows embedding design files as sandboxed previews within task cards. All uploaded files are accessible from the task's attachment section with bulk download support.
