Is the free plan really free forever?

Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and requires no credit card. You get unlimited tasks, 1 workspace, 2 boards, and up to 3 team members — enough to try everything solo. Upgrade only when your team grows.

How does annual billing work?

Annual plans are billed once per year per workspace. You pay for 10 months and get 12 — effectively 2 months free compared to monthly billing. You can switch billing periods anytime from your workspace settings.

Can I collaborate with my team on the free plan?

Real-time collaboration (multiple members on the same canvas) starts from the Starter plan. The Free plan is designed for solo use with 1 seat.

What are AI meeting note credits?

Paste a meeting transcript and AI instantly extracts action items and creates tasks on your board. Each meeting uses 1 credit (transcripts up to 90 min). New Pro and Max workspaces get 2 credits; annual plans get 4 credits.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, cancel anytime from Workspace Settings → Billing. Your workspace stays on the paid plan until the end of the current period, then automatically downgrades to Free — no data is lost.

How does pricing work if I have multiple workspaces?

Each workspace has its own plan and billing. You can have a Pro workspace for your main team and a Free workspace for a side project. Plans and limits apply per workspace, not per account.

Do you offer refunds?

We don't offer refunds for partial periods, but you can cancel before your next renewal to avoid future charges. If something went wrong on our end, reach out to us at hello@is.team and we'll make it right.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. If your workspace exceeds the free plan limits after downgrading, existing boards and tasks remain accessible but you won't be able to create new ones until you're within the limits again.

Can I import tasks from Jira, Trello, or Notion?

Not yet, but it's on our roadmap. For now you can manually recreate your boards — most teams find the fresh start helpful. Reach out if you need help migrating.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase) with encryption at rest and in transit. We follow industry-standard security practices including session-based authentication, rate limiting, and regular security audits.

Do you support SSO or SAML?

Not at this time. We support email/password and Google sign-in. SSO/SAML is planned for a future enterprise tier.

Can I use is.team offline?

is.team works best with an internet connection for real-time sync. If you briefly lose connectivity, your changes are cached locally and automatically synced when you're back online. The desktop timer app also queues time entries while offline.
