How it works

Time lives inside the task.

Every time entry is attached to a real task — not floating in a spreadsheet somewhere. Context stays intact.

Timer in every task

Open a task, hit the play button. The timer runs while you work on other things. When you're done, stop it. That's it.

Time logs with context

Every time entry shows who logged it, when, and for how long. Add a note if you need to explain what the time was spent on.

Get started

Pomodoro mode

Work in focused 25-minute intervals with automatic breaks. The timer counts down, notifies you when a session ends, and logs the time to the task.

Quick Log shortcut

Press ⌘⇧T from anywhere to open the quick log modal. Pick a task, type the duration, done. No need to open the task first.

Use cases.

Track time per task, export by date range. Send clients accurate timesheets without reconstructing your week from memory. Every minute is tied to a deliverable.

Time Tracking in is.team

How Does Time Tracking Work in is.team?

is.team includes a comprehensive time tracking system built into every plan at no additional cost. Users log time directly on task cards through manual worklog entries with descriptions, a built-in Pomodoro timer (25-minute work / 5-minute break cycles), or the quick-log shortcut (⌘⇧T on Mac). AI-powered time estimation suggests durations based on task complexity, story points, and historical data from similar tasks. The smart recovery feature detects forgotten running timers and prompts users to save or discard accumulated time. A native desktop timer app is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux, with offline queueing that syncs entries when connectivity returns. Weekly timesheets display logged hours per task with CSV export for invoicing and payroll. Time analytics dashboards show daily, per-member, and per-task breakdowns with visual charts. Every entry can be marked as billable or non-billable, feeding into the budget tracking system for accurate project cost reporting.
