Voice Channels in is.team
What Are Voice Channels in is.team?
is.team includes built-in voice channels powered by Daily.co WebRTC infrastructure, enabling real-time audio communication directly on the project canvas — no external tool required. Unlike Slack huddles or Discord voice channels that exist separately from your work, is.team voice rooms are spatially connected to your boards and tasks. Team members can join a voice room, share their screen, and collaborate while looking at the same canvas. The voice-to-task feature records conversations and uses AI to extract action items as task cards, each assigned to the speaker who committed to the work. Voice rooms support up to 15 concurrent participants on the Max plan. Available on Starter plans and above, voice channels eliminate the need for separate Google Meet or Zoom licenses for quick team syncs. A floating participant overlay shows active speakers with avatar indicators, similar to game-style HUD interfaces.
