Overview
The AI Task Assistant is powered by Google Gemini 2.5 Flash. It lives inside the task modal — open any task and click the AI icon to get started.
The assistant reads your current task title and description, applies the selected action, and returns an updated version. You always get to preview the result before applying it.

Choose from a set of predefined actions to transform your task instantly.
Improve details
Rewrites the task description with clearer language and better structure.
Plan steps
Breaks the task into a numbered step-by-step plan.
Simplify
Condenses the task into a shorter, more focused description.
Add acceptance criteria
Appends a checklist of conditions that define when the task is done.
Custom Prompt
If the quick actions don't fit your needs, write your own instruction. Describe what you want the AI to do with the task — for example, "translate to Turkish" or "add technical implementation notes". The assistant will follow your prompt and generate an updated version.
How It Works

Open the AI panel
Open a task and click the AI icon in the task modal.

Choose an action or write a prompt
Select one of the quick actions or type a custom instruction.

Generate
Press ⌘Enter or click Generate. Gemini processes your request.

Preview the result
The AI output appears in a preview editor. Review the suggested title and description.

Apply or regenerate
Click Apply to accept the changes or Regenerate to try again.
Output
The assistant updates two fields: the task title and the rich text description. The description supports all formatting available in the editor — headings, lists, code blocks, and more.
