Figma

Attach Figma designs to your tasks by pasting a URL. is.team fetches the file metadata, shows a preview, and embeds an interactive Figma viewer right inside the task modal.

Connecting Figma

Only the workspace owner can connect the Figma integration.

  1. 1

    Open Workspace Settings

Navigate to Workspace Settings and select the Integrations tab.

  2. 2

    Click Connect Figma

You'll be redirected to Figma to authorize is.team. Confirm the permissions and you'll be sent back.

  3. 3

    Ready to use

After authorization, any workspace member can attach Figma files to tasks.

Attaching Designs to Tasks

Figma uses a two-step flow: paste the URL first, preview the file, then attach it.

  1. 1

    Open a task

Click on any task to open the task modal.

  2. 2

    Find the Figma section

In the task sidebar, locate the Figma section.

  3. 3

    Paste a Figma URL

Paste the URL from your browser's address bar or a Figma share link.

  4. 4

    Preview and attach

Click Fetch to load the file preview with name and thumbnail. Then click Attach to link it.

Supported URL Formats

is.team recognizes several types of Figma URLs.

/file/

Standard Figma design files.

/design/

Figma design files using the newer URL format.

/proto/

Figma prototypes with interaction flows.

/board/

FigJam boards for brainstorming and whiteboarding.

Inline Preview

Attached Figma files display with an embedded viewer directly in the task modal. The file name and thumbnail are extracted automatically from the Figma API. Click the preview to open a larger interactive view where you can zoom and navigate frames.

Info

Both public and private Figma files are supported. As long as the connected Figma account has access to the file, is.team can fetch its metadata and render the preview.

Tip

Copy the URL directly from Figma's address bar — share links also work. Both formats are recognized and will produce the same result.

Disconnecting

Disconnecting the Figma integration removes the connection but preserves existing links on tasks. The file name and thumbnail will still display, but the inline preview will stop loading. Reconnect at any time to restore full functionality.
