Inline Formatting
Select text to reveal the floating toolbar, or use keyboard shortcuts for faster editing.
Bold
⌘B — Make text bold for emphasis.
Italic
⌘I — Italicize text for subtle emphasis.
Underline
⌘U — Underline important text.
Strikethrough
Strike through completed or deprecated text.
Highlight
Add a colored background to draw attention.
Code
Inline monospace code for variables or commands.
Block Types
Structure your content with a variety of block types. Each one is accessible via the toolbar or slash commands.
Headings
Three levels (H1, H2, H3) for organizing sections within a description.
Lists
Bullet lists, ordered lists, and task lists with interactive checkboxes.
Blockquote
Indented quote blocks for referencing external content or feedback.
Code Block
Fenced code blocks with syntax highlighting. Specify the language for accurate coloring.
Callout
Colored callout blocks (info, warning, tip) to highlight important notes. ⌘⇧C to insert.
Toggle / Collapsible
Collapsible blocks to hide long content behind a summary. ⌘⇧T to insert.
Tables
Insert a table from the toolbar or slash commands. You can add and remove rows and columns, merge cells, and resize column widths by dragging. Tables are great for comparison charts, data summaries, or structured requirements.
Links & Images
Enrich your descriptions with links and visual content.
Links
Select text and add a URL, or paste a URL directly. Links are clickable and open in a new tab.
Images
Drag-and-drop or paste images directly into the editor. Images are resizable by dragging the corners.
Slash Commands
Type / on a new line to open the command palette. It lists all available block types — headings, lists, code blocks, callouts, tables, and more. Type to filter, then press Enter to insert. This is the fastest way to add any block type without leaving the keyboard.
@Mentions
Type @ followed by a name to mention a team member. A dropdown appears with matching workspace members. Selecting a person inserts a styled mention chip and triggers an in-app notification so they know they've been referenced.
Real-time Collaboration
Multiple team members can edit the same task description simultaneously. Each user's cursor is visible in real-time with a colored indicator matching their avatar. Changes merge automatically — no save conflicts, no lost work.
