Connect Slack to receive task assignment and comment notifications directly in your team's channel. Stay in the loop without switching between apps.
Connecting Slack
Only the workspace owner can connect the Slack integration.

Open Workspace Settings
Navigate to Workspace Settings and select the Integrations tab.

Click Connect Slack
You'll be redirected to Slack to authorize is.team. Select the workspace you want to connect and confirm.

Select a channel
After returning to is.team, choose the default notification channel from the dropdown.
What Gets Sent to Slack
is.team sends two types of notifications to your selected Slack channel.
Task Assignment
Sent when a task is assigned. Format: "{assigner} assigned {assignee} to #{number} {title}"
Comment Notification
Sent when a comment is added to a task. Includes commenter name, task title, and a comment preview.
Changing the Notification Channel
You can switch the notification channel at any time from Workspace Settings → Integrations. Select a different channel from the dropdown and future notifications will be delivered there.
Tip
Create a dedicated #project-updates channel in Slack for cleaner notifications. This keeps your main channels free from automated messages.
Disconnecting
Disconnecting the Slack integration stops all notifications immediately. No further messages will be sent to your Slack workspace. You can reconnect at any time to resume notifications.
