Canvas Overview
The canvas is the heart of is.team — a FigJam-like infinite surface where your boards, notes, and connections coexist. Instead of navigating between separate pages, everything lives on a single zoomable workspace.
What Is the Infinite Canvas?
The infinite canvas is an unlimited, pannable, and zoomable surface. There are no page boundaries — you can scroll in any direction, zoom in to focus on details, or zoom out to see the big picture. A subtle dotted grid helps you orient yourself as you move around.
Boards (kanban-style task managers), notes (standalone text cards), and connections (directional arrows) are placed freely on this surface. You can arrange them however makes sense for your team — group by sprint, by feature, by department, or any way you like.
HUD Layout
While the canvas itself is infinite, the interface has four fixed HUD (heads-up display) zones that stay in place as you pan and zoom.

Key Concepts
The canvas is built around five core building blocks.
Workspace
Your team's home. A workspace contains one canvas with its own members, boards, notes, and billing plan.
Canvas
The infinite surface inside a workspace. All visual elements live here — boards, notes, and connections.
Board
A kanban-style card with columns and tasks. Each board is a node on the canvas that you can drag and resize.
Note
A standalone text card for ideas, reminders, or documentation. Place it anywhere on the canvas.
Connection
A directional arrow linking two items. Connections define your workflow and guide task movement between boards.
