What Is a Workspace?
Each workspace is a completely separate environment. You can think of it as a container for a single team, project, or client. Members, boards, integrations, and billing are all scoped to the workspace — nothing leaks between them.
Independent Space
Each workspace has its own canvas, boards, notes, and connections. Perfect for separating work across teams or clients.
Own Billing Plan
Every workspace runs on its own plan — Free, Starter, Pro, or Max. Upgrade or downgrade at any time.
Dedicated Members
Invite only the people who need access. Each workspace has its own member list and roles.
Isolated Integrations
Connect GitHub, Slack, Google Drive, or Figma per workspace. One integration setup per space.
Step-by-Step Guide
Creating a workspace takes less than a minute. Here's how:

Sign up or log in
Head to is.team and create an account with your email or Google. If you already have an account, just sign in.

Click "Create Workspace"
On the dashboard, click the Create Workspace button. This opens the workspace creation wizard.

Name your workspace
Enter a name between 2 and 50 characters. Pick something your team will recognize — you can always rename it later.

Select a plan
Choose the plan that fits your team: Free, Starter, Pro, or Max. Toggle between monthly and yearly billing to compare prices.

Create
Hit the create button. For the Free plan, your workspace is ready instantly. For paid plans, you'll be redirected to Stripe Checkout to complete payment — the workspace activates as soon as payment succeeds.
Plans & Workspace Limits
The number of workspaces you can create depends on your highest active plan. Here's a quick breakdown:
Free
1 workspace. Great for personal use or trying things out.
Starter
Up to 2 workspaces. Ideal for freelancers juggling a couple of projects.
Pro
Up to 5 workspaces. Built for growing teams managing multiple streams.
Max
Up to 30 workspaces. For agencies and organizations at scale.
Billing & Payment
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. You can choose monthly or yearly billing during workspace creation. Yearly billing gives you a significant discount compared to paying month by month.
After creation, manage your subscription from Workspace Settings → Billing. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through the Stripe Billing Portal.
Tip
You can always upgrade your plan later from Workspace Settings. Start with Free to explore, then move up when your team grows.
