Google Drive
Attach Google Drive files to your tasks and preview them inline. Docs, Sheets, Slides, PDFs, images — everything opens right inside the task modal.
Connecting Google Drive
Only the workspace owner can connect the Google Drive integration.
- 1
Open Workspace Settings
Navigate to Workspace Settings and select the Integrations tab.
- 2
Click Connect Google Drive
You'll be redirected to Google to authorize is.team. Grant access to your Drive files and confirm.
- 3
Ready to use
After authorization, any workspace member can start attaching Drive files to tasks.
Info
Once the workspace owner connects Google Drive, every member of the workspace can attach files to tasks — not just the owner.
Attaching Files to Tasks
- 1
Open a task
Click on any task to open the task modal.
- 2
Find the Google Drive section
In the task sidebar, locate the Google Drive section.
- 3
Search for a file
Type a file name to search your Drive. Leave the search empty to see your recently viewed files.
- 4
Click to attach
Select a file from the results to attach it to the task.
Supported File Types
Attached files open in an embedded viewer directly inside the task modal.
Google Docs
Documents open in a read-only embedded viewer.
Google Sheets
Spreadsheets display with full formatting intact.
Google Slides
Presentations show in a navigable slide viewer.
PDFs
PDF files render inline with scroll support.
Images
JPG, PNG, GIF, and other image formats display directly.
Other files
Unsupported formats show a download link instead.
Token Refresh
Access tokens are refreshed automatically on the server side. You don't need to reconnect Google Drive unless you explicitly revoke access from your Google account settings.
Tip
Search works across all your Google Drive files — not just shared ones. If you can see it in Google Drive, you can attach it to a task.
Disconnecting
Disconnecting the Google Drive integration removes the connection but keeps existing file links on tasks. Those links will continue to display file metadata but the inline preview will no longer load. Reconnect at any time to restore full functionality.
